December: What have I been sewing?

With all classes finishing last month, I had a bit more time to sew for myself and I enjoyed it very much. I managed 4 dresses and one unfinished and yet to determine if I like it. I have to find nice buttons for it.

I made two for Zadie Hacks, I am absolutely in love with this dress version. The wrap doesn't gape open and the elastic makes it very comfortable to wear. This dress pattern hack turns out to be my uniform, another 4 more and I have a dress for every single day of the week.

For my two new dresses, I used a Viscose/Rayon again. The navy version is a normal Rayon (bought in Germany couple of months ago). It is the same weight than the version with the feathers I made last months - sorry I didn't manage to get a picture taken of it yet. I wore it a few times layered under wool cardigans but didn't brave to take it off for pictures. The leopard is a Viscose crepe which gives the dress a different look. The fabric feels 'heavier' but still very floaty.

Out of the same fabric - the tiny leopard in burgundy - I made the Myosotis Dress by Deer & Doe. I decided to sum up my thoughts in a pattern review. I haven't done them for a while.

And the last dress of this year, is the Appleton Wrap Dress by Cashmerette. It is a Jersey Wrap Dress. My mom gifted me this fabric for Christmas last year. I should write a blog post about this dress too.

And that's it for this month. Next month, once back from holiday, I will be working on the new course samples mostly.

What have you been sewing this month? Any Christmas gifts? What are your plans? Comment below.

Thanks for hanging out with me.

Happy Sewing,

Maria
