Linen fabrics personally hand-picked for your next dressmaking project.
Linen is made from the fibres of the stem of the flax plant. The fibre does not have any insulate properties allowing the wearer to feel cool. Linen yarn is stronger than a similar weight cotton yarn which means that it can be more loosely woven.
Linen can be combined with other fibres such as silk, rayon and cotton which will alter the feel of the fabric. Please see each individual fabric listing for more information. Linen is good for sewing loose fitted trousers, dresses and tops - perfect for the weather in Dubai.
Fabrics are sold in half metre increments so that you order the quantity you need and won't have too much scrap fabric left. Remnant fabrics are sold as they are, meaning if it is 1.5m left, then this is what will be sold. It won't be possible just to get some of it.
