In this workshop you will build confidence and work on a variety of sewing projects.

What will you learn?

Session 1: Practice with your sewing machine. We will learn sewing straight and curved lines as well as a spiral square and finish this day with the 'Sewing Machine Driving Test'.

Session 2: Make yourself a lovely tote bag perfect for beach visits.

Session 3: Step up the your bag-making game and learn to make a drawstring bag for your toys and a drawstring back-pack for your swim/sports gear.

Session 4: Make your first soft toy - one of our fun emoji soft toy cushions.

During the workshop, you will learn how to sew straight lines, curves, hand-sewing and we will also cover the basics of hemming. We will cut the fabric for all projects and all major ironing tasks are handle by me. Kids get familiar with small pressing tasks using a smaller iron under careful supervision.

Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is suitable for children aged 9 years and above who are beginners and never used a sewing machine.

All materials are included and you just have to bring yourself.
