Kids & Teens Sewing Club
Weekly sewing sessions for growing makers.
Our Kids & Teens Sewing Club is designed for students who have already completed our beginner workshops (Kids Sewing Bee or Teenage Maker) and are ready to build on their skills. This is where confidence turns into independence. Students work on a mix of craft and dressmaking projects, developing technique, precision and creative decision-making over time.
What they'll work on?
At the beginning of each term, we propose projects based on skill level. Projects are carefully selected to expand technique and build progression.
Students may work on:

👜 Structured bags
🧵 Skill-building craft projects
🪡 Intermediate construction techniques
For advanced sewists, project choice becomes more flexible and self-directed.
Who is this workshop for?
Suitable for children aged 9+ who have:
✔ Completed Kids Sewing Bee or Teenage Maker
OR
✔ Completed similar structured beginner projects
Students should be able to:

When is the weekly club?
Dubai
Wednesday & Thursday: 4:30 – 6:30 PM
Friday: 3 – 5 PM
Saturday: 3 – 5 PM
Sunday: 9 – 11 AM and 1:30 – 3:30 PM
Abu Dhabi
Friday: 3 – 5 PM

Students are welcome to bring their own sewing machine if preferred.
Level: Confident Beginner and Up
Students should have prior machine experience and basic sewing skills.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
CAN WE BRING OUR OWN MACHINE?
Yes — this is encouraged, as it helps students practice on the machine they use at home.
We use Brother and Bernette machines in the studio. If bringing a machine is not practical, you may request a specific model (subject to availability).
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY KID(S) CAN'T COME DUE TO SICKNESS, HOMEWORK OR TRAVEL?
No problem, sessions are not lost as long as you inform us at least 12 hours before class start time. Late cancellations (less than 12 hours’ notice) and no-shows will result in a session being deducted from the prepaid package.
Packages must be used within:

DO THE CLUBS RUN THROUGHOUT THE YEAR?
We pause during major school holidays (Spring, Summer and Winter Break). We may run sessions during February and October half term if numbers allow. If enrolment is small, we may merge groups and will inform you in advance.
I ONLY WANT TO SEND MY KID(S) FOR ONE SESSION.
Most projects require more than one session to complete properly. To ensure structured progression and fair planning, we offer club packages of 5 or 10 sessions only.
CAN MY CHILD SEW WHATEVER THEY LIKE?
Once students reach an intermediate level, they may choose their own projects.
Intermediate level expectations:

Minimum 1 year sewing experience

Can work independently

Understand basic dressmaking terminology

Have completed at least 5 garments and additional sewing projects
For students still building skills, we guide project selection to ensure proper progression.
