In this workshop you will build confidence and work on a variety of sewing projects.

What will you learn?

Session 1: Make yourself a lovely bag for your shopping or beach visits.

Session 2: Sew a drawstring swim bag to fine tune your straight lines and make a start on cutting the fabric for you PJ shorts.

Session 3: Take a dive into your first dressmaking project with a pair of pyjama shorts.

Session 4: Sew a wash or make-up bag with a zipper.

You will learn how to sew straight lines and finish your projects with zig zag stitches. We will also cover all basics of sewing including hemming.

Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is suitable for children aged 13 to 19 years who are beginners and never used a sewing machine.

What is included in the course? And what do I have to bring?

All materials are included and you just have to bring yourself.

Course Length: 4 sessions of 2.5 hours
